On this power station a major issue was to identify the extent of the resources and hours allocated to the works. This was achieved by using the gate cards which could then be compared with the man-hours assumptions in the base line planning. This enabled the interface between the hours worked and the expected hours as a basis for claim.
Outcome
The level of detail on massive projects is immense. Sorting massive data into colour charts is good for reviewing the Headline assumptions and the backward pass review. High level data diagrams can clarify the narrative by making many options unrealistic and untenable.
